Over the last five years working for AbilityFirst, I have had the privilege of meeting some of the most empathetic, kind, compassionate people I’ve ever known;  participants and their families and AbilityFirst staff and supporters.

I am honored to work for an organization that celebrates inclusion, diversity and most importantly, the staff and team members lead with compassion and love. Many of my fellow team members, especially those  working directly with participants, show so much kindness and dedication towards the work they do! Meeting many of our participants and seeing those friends smiling, laughing, having fun – but also working so hard to achieve their personal best everyday, brings me so much joy!

The best part of my day is when I get a high five, fist pump, a hug, or a smile from a friend at AbilityFirst.

Prior to AbilityFirst, I was the Director of Communications & Corporate Partnerships for Five Acres and before that, I was Publisher and Co-Founder of Pasadena Magazine and spent the better part of my career in advertising. I have a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University, a fellow with the Southern California Leadership Network and an adjunct professor teaching Organizational Behavior in the Business School at Cal Poly Pomona.
