Rebecca Haussling currently serves as the Senior Director of Communications for AbilityFirst and is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the agency-wide integrated communications strategy.
Rebecca earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership. She is a current fellow with Southern California Leadership Network. Rebecca has more than fifteen years experience in advertising and in 2014 made the jump from corporate to non-profit.. Prior to AbilityFirst, Rebecca held the Director of Communications title at Five Acres and before that spent nearly eight years at the helm of Pasadena Magazine as publisher, launching the publication and overseeing its growth into a multi-million dollar magazine. In the process, she was a tireless advocate for Pasadena businesses and local charities. In recognition of her contributions, Rebecca was the recipient of the Woman of Excellence Award from the California State Assembly and was honored as a Woman Making a Difference by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
