Jessica is always aspiring to learn and grow! She has undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Spanish and has accumulated a stack of professional enrichment certificates including “Risking Connection”, a training program for staff to identify and provide caring help for those who have experienced traumatic stress. A “Family Engagement” certification aimed to support welfare and protection of vulnerable individuals and their support team. She has trained in “Intervention Strategies” to reduce harm and promote safety, and in “Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors,” a program used to support diverse communities to promote family wellbeing. Her work’s passion is learning from AbilityFirst individuals and how to best support them and help them reach their personal goals.
