Dear AbilityFirst Participant and Family Member,
Please take a few minutes to participate in the online survey below from California’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS). DDS is the state department that funds Regional Center Services. The survey will help DDS better understand how COVID-19 has impacted our community and changed services, and identify what is important to you. The survey includes fifteen questions and is available in 10 languages.
Questions 4, 9, 11 and 12 are questions about how AbilityFirst is doing as your service provider. We have made every possible effort to understand and meet you and your family member’s needs during these very challenging times. We hope we have been successful. If there is more that we can do, please let us know how we can better serve you.
DDS has said that they will use the results of this survey to help determine the State’s priorities for providing funding for regional centers and direct services, including those we provide to you or your family member. We hope you will use this opportunity to let the State know that you value the services you receive and look forward to working together to build a better future.
