AbilityFirst Gourmet Festival of Fall
Plans are underway for the 2008 Gourmet Festival of Fall! This year’s event, benefiting the Lawrence L. Frank Center and Pasadena Work Center, is scheduled for Sunday, October 5 (4 to 7 p.m.) at the Tiffany Oaks Estate, 1311 Chelten Way in South Pasadena.
AbilityFirst is happy to announce that Richard R. Frank, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lawry’s Restaurants, Inc. and AbilityFirst Board Member, is our 34th Annual Gourmet Festival of Fall Event Chair.
Last year the annual food and wine tasting event brought out 600 AbilityFirst friends and supporters all eager to experience fine food and wine, listen to great live music and bid on fantastic silent and live auction items all for a great cause.
Past restaurant and winery participants have included Barn Burner, Bistro 561, Dona Rosa, El Cholo, Green Street Restaurant, Violet’s Cakes, Maddalena Vineyards and McKeon-Phillips Winery, among others.
A much anticipated highlight of every Festival of Fall is the silent and live auctions. Spirited bidding competitions take place as attendees vie for Dodgers tickets, sports memorabilia, vacations, handmade jewelry and theme baskets, and much more!
Save the date and stay tuned for updates!
