AbilityFirst Gourmet Festival of Fall
Sponsorship Opportunities
The 35th Annual AbilityFirst Gourmet Festival of Fall, presented by Forever 21, is scheduled for Sunday, October 4 (4 to 7 p.m.) at the beautiful South Pasadena home of John and Diane Mullin. A destination event for food and wine connoisseurs, the event benefits our Lawrence L. Frank Center and Pasadena Work Center, both providing programs and services to children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.
The AbilityFirst Gourmet Festival of Fall annually presents top area restaurants. They have included Bistro 45, Central Park, Derek’s Bistro & Dickenson West Fine Catering, Gale’s Restaurant, La Grande Orange Café, Piccomolo, Smitty’s Grill, Tam O’Shanter, and many more. We are securing 2009 restaurant participants and will post them shortly.
Wineries and spirits vendors, including Classic Wines of California, Southern Wine and Spirits, Stone Brewing Company and Rodney Strong Wine Estates have also participated and demonstrated their support of our mission. We look forward to their return and building new relationships in 2009.
As in past years, we are gathering great silent and live auction items. Items so far include passes to Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, tickets to the Tournament of Roses Parade and a Stickley rocker from Fedde’s Furniture. More is being added daily!
AbilityFirst thanks Richard R. Frank, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lawry’s Restaurants, Inc., grandson of Lawrence L. Frank and AbilityFirst Board Member, for serving as Event Chair of the 35th Annual Gourmet Festival of Fall. We also appreciate the work of the entire Festival of Fall of Steering Committee and their commitment to helping children and adults with disabilities realize their full potential throughout their lives.
