Joy Thomas is activity coordinator for AbilityFirst’s Newport Mesa Center. She has 28 years of work and volunteer experience in the disabilities field, and has worked with AbilityFirst for a year and a half. Joy has an associate’s degree in Psychology, and is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. Previously, she has worked as a special education instructional assistant, life skills trainer, and mobility trainer.
