
Barbara Schlosser is director of AbilityFirst’s Long Beach Center. She has worked in the disabilities field for more than 20 years, and has been with AbilityFirst for more than 15 years. Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Public Administration. Her particular specialty is program design and licensing, though she has broad-based experience in the field. She is a member and past committee chair for Very Special Arts Orange County’s Advisory Committee; a past board member of Very Special Arts California; a member and past president of the Council for Exceptional Children Orange County Chapter; member and past president of the Council for Exceptional Children’s California Division of ; and a past committee member of Orange County Special Olympics.
