With sirens blaring, firefighters from neighboring Los Angeles Country Fire Station #3 arrived at the AbilityFirst East Los Angeles Center to help celebrate the holiday season. The firefighters make this annual visit to the delight of participants and staff, establishing it as a much-anticipated holiday tradition.

Along with Santa Claus, the firefighters passed out holiday gifts to all children in attendance. The AbilityFirst East Los Angeles Center participants received special bags, each filled with several toys. Fresh Mexican food was prepared and the staff of the AbilityFirst East Los Angeles Center sold holiday ornaments and other holiday décor as a fundraiser. Participants from the AbilityFirst Lawrence L. Frank Community Center also attended the event as special guests.
