 Cindy Valencia is director of the AbilityFirst-Anaheim Program, and has 10 years experience in the disabilities field. She began as a volunteer with AbilityFirst while in high school, and has been employed with us since 1998. Cindy is continuing her education at Long Beach City College, having previously taken college courses in Child Development, Program Planning, and Supervision of Programs. She has also completed five semesters of American Sign Language and Interpretation. Cindy’s particular specialty is program and curriculum planning and implementation. She is a member of the American Camping Association, and served on the steering committee for the organization’s 2004-2005 conference.
