INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS OPEN IN IRVINE
AbilityFirst has opened the AbilityFirst Apartments Irvine. It is AbilityFirst’s twelfth independent living housing complex, and first in Orange County. The project, designed for low income individuals with disabilities, is a result of a partnership between the City of Irvine, the County of Orange, the State of California, the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and AbilityFirst. |
FOOTHILL AND LONG BEACH CENTER GUILDS MARK ANNIVERSARIES AND HONOR MEMBERS
Two AbilityFirst fundraising support groups – the AbilityFirst Claremont Center Foothill Guild and the AbilityFirst Long Beach Center Guild, each recently hosted events celebrating anniversaries, and honoring founding, past and current members who have made a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Combined, these two groups of extraordinary women have given their time, treasures and talents to AbilityFirst for nearly 75 years…unselfishly and generously! |
