ACTIVITY LEADER:
Activity Leaders assist in conducting social and recreational opportunities and activities in a program center. Prepare program materials, assists in set-up and clean up of activity area. Administer program curriculum as directed by Program Coordinator and/or Activity Coordinator. Responsible for monitoring activities and maintaining a safe environment for the program participants. Actively participate in activities and programs, including outings, special events and adventure trips. Provide personal care to program participants including feeding, dressing, and toileting. ECE units required for after school programs, ECE or related units preferred for adult programs. Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds. These positions are part time or Per Diem. Weekend and/or evening schedules available at some sites.

ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

Full time position requiring experience working with persons with disabilities in a group setting. Plans activities for after school program; supervises 4 Activity Leaders; maintains documentation and records including charting on 20 – 25 students; coordinates and supervises weekend program. Requires strong oral and written skills; strong leadership ability; California drivers license with a good driving record; 12 ECE units. Must be able to work 2 weekends per month. Experience with aquatics programs a plus.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT : (headquarters)

Assist the President and Executive Assistant by performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties.  Prepare and edit Power Point presentations. Provide coverage at the headquarters reception desk.  Answer general phone inquiries using a multi-function call director. Position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills to execute routine/special events, coordinate meetings and maintain calendars utilizing outlook software.  Ideal candidate must be detailed oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have 1-2 years experience as a fulltime administrative assistant, preferably to a senior level executive. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED, college preferred; a working knowledge of general office methods, and advanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook Express, PowerPoint and similar software.
